I honor the Spirit, and the great soul that gently seeks to make its Self known, to allow others to share the wisdom and the beauty that reside within True Being.
A chance meeting in a chat room led me to pack a lunch and spend some time on this site. Thank you, Snowwowl. I realize even more clearly what a blessing it is to have connected with you.

Greetings my Friend, I know the Great State of MONTANA well. I used to live on the land they call the valley of flowers (Gallatin county) for those who don't know where I'm talking about. I fished and hunted here for many moons. It is where I learned to respect our mother and to always protect her
against those who would do her harm. I plan on moving back as soon as my son graduates college in 4 more years. He attends DARTMOUTH College in N.H. He was born in Browning in the season of
rebirth (spring) for those who know not and is a member of the BLACKFEET nation. I on the other hand was born during the falling leaves time (fall) in Ct. and now live in Vermont and I belong to the MIK'MAQ nation. I do many pow-wow's and craft shows. I thank you Snowwowl for your kind and helpful words about my web site and we are making the
necessary changes as I write this letter. Yes you can add my site to yours and I'll add your site to mine. Please send me your snail mail address and phone number. I would very much like to talk with you. I have 2 e-mail addresses they are: GRIZBEAR@KINGCON.COM and GRIZBEAR@WHEELOCKCREEK.COM MY web site address is: WWW.WHEELOCKCREEK.COM It was a great honor to receive your input about my web site THANK YOU. GRIZ P.S. You have a GREAT web site. I'll share it with all I know.

What an awesome site you have created Snowwowl. I happened upon it quite by accident. I was looking for a recipe for Guthries Chicken Sauce and your site, because of your name appeared at the top of the search list. I clicked and was very glad I did. I read some of your
articles (wonderful) and checked out the recipes and artwork and everything was incredible. I plan to feature your site in my SharingLinks2 yahoo group.
Thank you for creating such a wonderful work of art. It's truly a treasure. Jo-Ann

You signed our guest book at the Little Feather Center site a while ago and we are just reciprocating. Great site, very well put together and the content is great too.
I (Gloria) especially loved the story of your nephew and would like to put it on my peace site as a link, would that be OK with you? If I don't hear from you I'll take it as a yes. You will of course get credited for it.
Keep up the good work, and take care of yourself. Mitakuye Oyasin.

I noticed it wasn't called mescalero in your list of tribes. what is it then?
I would like to know. thank you. finally I would like to say I think your site is pretty cool and very informative. bye.

Thank-you Spotted Eagle Woman for your noticing of the broken link. The Geneology page is a very important page for us also. It has now been fixed. If something else happens like this in the future-there are separate contents pages for each major section of the site-so one can always go there and hopefully<smile> get to the page one wants.
As for the "red", as Snowwowl has said, if some can not read the "red" please let us know, for it can be changed. However right
now, I would rather spend my limited time putting up the numerous articles (about 20-I think) that Snowwowl and guest
contributors have already compiled, and I have not had the time to add to the site.
Like Snowwowl, we at witticismsink appreciate all of the comments and thank everyone here for taking the time to add your comments to our guest log.

I wish to thank one and all that have tarried a bit here while on their way to and fro upon the waves of the Cyber Sea. Especially, I wish to thank the ones that took a bit of time to "sign" the Guest Book. Until I finally had a site of my own, I never realized how much it means to those personally involved with a site, to see "real" people visiting and not just a number counter changing totals. Thank you.
Next, a couple of you have made comment about the "RED" coloration contained on the site graphics(?). Now, in a way these two comments can be taken as a somewhat inside joke...this being that while I (personally) am in a Chat Room say, I am unable to see because of my very limited eyesight, the brighter colors...especially Red and usually have to ask most apologetically if "they" will change to a darker font color.
With regard to this site, and Red...at my end...it does not appear RED to me, but rather a darker brown shading to red...Auburn comes to mind. However, in view of my own difficulties I can surely see how this particular color might appear difficult to others to see and that while I have spoken of this problem being somewhat of an inside "joke", it also has a very valid basis for being an actual problem. In my own defense...grinning widely here, I can only say that while the contents and such are my responsibility for the most part, the web site design and maintenance belongs to my "partners in space"...(s). So, I shall pass along the comments and seemingly/possible implied suggestions and together we shall see what can be done.
I wish I could say that solutions would be forthcoming soon and implemented...but I can not. The so-called Real World keeps intruding and stealing "our" time and energies, as I am sure you...one and all...can surely identify with. However, rest assured, we shall address the problem and solution as soon as possible.
Again, I thank you, one and all, for taking time and coming to visit with The Owl. - Snow and the Invisible Companions...(s)

Dear Brother Owl ~
My oh my; I see you and your web personages have been very busy. Your site has evolved quite a bit since my last "blue dragon" visit. I wanted to let you know how much I enjoy my visits here; very refreshing. I do have one little, teeny, tiny question for you: Does the font color and outline color here on your site look RED to you?
I love you, brother >:)

This is a great site! Still have a few bugs like it says to click on a link to go to it but it
didn't work with the genealogy link. It would be great if you could get that thing working. You know how many look for relatives. Who are otherwise lost to our people because
family's hid their heritage. I have only one complaint----You keep telling me not to use red when I talk and what is the first thing I see on this
site? hhmm? RED! LOL Seriously, this is a lot of work you've done and beautifully put forth. I thank you from all of us. Keep up the good work.

This is in reply to Ms. Margaux who spoke of this site having "no pictures!"
The thing is Margaux, that some of the "pages" are basically written content, those have pictures at the bottoms of the page; some articles are a combination of writing and pictures and will have pictures, for instance, examples of Pottery throughout the given article; some articles have few pictures, some have many; sometimes such as in the case of say the
Recipe Section there are no pictures at all; sometimes since this is an ever ongoing and updated site, the pictures have yet to be put; and sometimes depending on the viewer's computer it takes longer for the pictures to come up.
I am sorry that you seem to have had a bad time at the site, however, I must also say that you are the only one that has thus far spoken as to there being "no pictures" here. I hope you return again, perhaps it was just computer glitches that kept you from seeing the pictures. At any rate, we thank you for taking the time to visit the site. - Snowwowl

To my dearest friend and whom i have flown many paths with. Love you dearly for your honesty and soul searching thoughts that you give of the the spirit so freely. Just as the tiny sparrows
fly through the morning skies looking for the seeds that give her life so is it that the Great Spirit who guides us to the things that are needed to give us the greatest riches life could possible hold for each of us. If we would just be still long enough in our busy lives we would see and hear the things that are there to make this passage worthy and leave light for others to find the passage too.
love you dear friend Snowwowl one of the kindest souls you will ever meet.

Hi,
Thank You for creating and maintaining this site. I have found it to be thought provoking, motivational. It is good to see a site with a fresh view and one that calls things by what they are vs what one would want to believe they are. Original thought seems to be rare today, as is Courage to stand alone with one's own thoughts and convictions if need be. Thank you for including a page for stories. This too is important for it is the way many learn and sometimes are able to see things they need to see within themselves not only for the reader but the
writer as well. Thank you for the opportunity you give to others to not only help others to see and hear from a different perspective but also to have a place to give back what has been given to them. The graphics are beautifully done and they too speak much and are a way of giving back a part of what has been given. May Great Spirit bless you with
Guidance, Direction, Light, Love and Peace always
